I cannot believe it’s already Friday! This week – actually, the past few weeks – has absolutely flown by. I’ve been crazy busy with all kinds of things, and I haven’t had a chance to just chill out and slow down and breathe. I’m going to attempt to do that this weekend. Wish me luck. 😉
Anyway, my review. Last week, I went to the Taste of U City!
It was at Heman Community Center in University City. My stepdad is on the chamber of commerce in U City, and he invited me to the event. Food and lots of it? Count me in. Duh.
I wasn’t the only one excited about the event. It was a pretty full house!
There were so many vendors and so much food that I don’t even know how to cover it all.
Blueprint Coffee had a booth there…
And so did my favorite Indian spot, House of India! They had a tray of delicious pakora.
Wonton King was there —
Along with Flaco’s Cocina, Rocket Fizz Candy, and Seoul Taco!
Vernon’s BBQ and Salt and Smoke had tables set up —
And so did Three Kings Tavern, Cicero’s, and Imo’s!
Yes – in addition to pizza, Imo’s has wings, and they were pretty good!
On the sweet side, there was Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, Fitz’s, and Mrs. M’s Candy.
I seriously need to visit Miss M’s and write a review. I mean, look at this:
Yeah. I owe this place a review.
Once I stuffed myself with all the food I could fit inside my belly, I ended with a piece of fruit from Long Acres Farms.
I love food events like this, because it gives me a chance to try out a lot of different places, but it’s also frustrating, because I want to try every place, and my stomach just doesn’t have the room! #FirstWorldProblems
This was an awesome event, and something I would definitely go to next year. Thanks again to my stepdad for the invite!
See you next week. 🙂
